Watch Father John Misty's Passionate 'Holy S--t' Performance on 'Colbert'

Singer-songwriter showcases 'I Love You, Honeybear' cut and his dance moves on 'Late Show'

Nearly a year after releasing his latest LP I Love You, Honeybear, Father John Misty played the album cut "Holy Shit" on Thursday's Late Show With Stephen Colbert

Wearing all black, including large black sunglasses, the former Fleet Foxes gave an impassioned performance of the Honeybear track. The beginning of the song has Misty playing with an acoustic guitar until halfway through when a freak-folk breakdown occurs and he begins dancing wildly in front of his band.

Misty began the cycle for I Love You, Honeybear with The Late Show back in 2015 when David Letterman was still the host. He recently announced a 36-date tour that will launch on March 30th in Santa Ana, CA and culminate on May 31st in Oslo, Norway. The announcement came with a partnership with Pandora, where he debuted a mixtape of songs curated by the singer-songwriter as well as acoustic tracks and "rejected Pandora promos." The partnership also included a tour presale via the site that began on January 11th.
