Ahead of Sunday night's Grammys, Ed Sheeran dropped by Saturday Night Live to perform the first two singles off his upcoming Divide, "Shape of You" and "Castle on the Hill."

The singer has performed the two singles in promotional appearances for over a month, so both tracks were perfectly calibrated and refined by the time they reached Studio 8H.

Sheeran especially has made "Shape of You" his own song considering that he wrote it for someone else. "Well, it was written with Rihanna in mind to begin with before it became the song 'Shape of You,' but that's how the song was originally created," he recently revealed.

Divide, or ÷ as it's stylized, is due out March 3rd.

After performing Saturday night in New York City, Sheeran will jump to the West Coast in order to perform at the 57th annual Grammy Awards Sunday night in Los Angeles. The singer also has an Ellen performance scheduled for Monday.
