Demi Lovato belted out her ballad "Stone Cold" at the GLAAD Media Awards over the weekend. The next night, Lovato performed the track at the iHeartRadio Music Awards with help from Brad Paisley on guitar.
Accompanied by a piano, Lovato passionately delivered a bluesy rendition of the soaring track for the award show audience. As she hit every note, the audience let out spurts of claps. At the same show, she was presented with the Vanguard Award by her friend and Future Now tourmate Nick Jonas.
"Demi Lovato has consistently used her platform as a successful artist to send messages of acceptance and support to LGBT people everywhere,” GLAAD President & CEO Sarah Kate Ellis said of the singer and actress. "She is an extraordinary ally who is committed to helping young people embrace who they are and live the lives they love."
Lovato released her album Confident, which also features the single "Cool for the Summer," last November. Her and Jonas announced their co-headlining trek — and sixth tour together — last October.
