Bryan Cranston, Amy Schumer, Seth Rogen, Kristen Wiig and more donate their time and talents to a collaborative reading of Drake's "Hotline Bling" via The Scene and W Magazine.
Schumer, Rogen and Wiig deliver some of most impassioned recitations, while Elizabeth Banks, Paul Dano and Joel Edgerton also tap into their secret actor's pain to bring out the real pathos in Drake's lyrics. Brie Larson and Saoirse Ronan, however, skip the dramatics and go straight for the song and dance routine, breaking out the goofiest, Drake-iest moves they can muster.
Unsurprisingly, Cranston goes full Walter White, delivering a grizzly reading that proves he is the one who knocks — and calls you on your cell phone.
As one of 2015's most indomitable tracks — number three on Rolling Stone's 50 Best Songs list — "Hotline Bling" has inspired a bevy of tributes, including covers by Justin Bieber and Erykah Badu. Even Adele was so moved by the Toronto rapper's tale of unrequited late-night love, she told etalk she wanted to do an official remix with Drake.
