"Inclusion makes us stronger and in the name of love, we will rise," Keys tweeted after premiering the video, which spotlights the bond between multiracial families.
Keys, who comes from a multiracial marriage, also shows her own blended family: husband Kasseem "Swizz Beatz" Dean, sons Egypt and Genesis and stepsons Prince Nasir and Kasseem Dean Jr. The song itself is dedicated to her stepsons.
"My new song 'Blended Family (What You Do For Love)' is inspired by my family's personal journey to cultivate deeper understanding, compassion, support and love," Keys said of the track. "To me, the word 'family' has no singular definition and the modern family is made up of all kinds of beautiful people of different walks of life willing to put love first."
