U2 marked the 30th anniversary of their seminal 1987 album The Joshua Tree Thursday with the announcement of an expansive reissue out June 2nd.

The new box set will feature demos, studio outtakes, B-sides and a 1987 concert recording at Madison Square Garden. U2 also tapped several producers to contribute new remixes of album cuts, including Daniel Lanois, Brian Eno, Flood, Steve Lillywhite, Jacknife Lee and St. Francis Hotel.

The 30th anniversary edition of The Joshua Tree will be available in several formats: A super deluxe box set, a two-disc deluxe set and standard editions. The super deluxe and standard editions will be available on CD and vinyl, the deluxe set on CD only and all three editions will be available digitally. All versions are available to pre-order now.

The physical copies of the super deluxe editions will also come with an 84-page hardback book featuring unseen personal photography from the Edge, shot during the band's Mojave Desert photo session in 1986. The release will also include a folio of eight color prints from director and longtime U2 collaborator, Anton Corbijn.

U2 will embark on a world tour this summer during which they'll play The Joshua Tree in its entirety. The North American leg kicks off May 12th in Vancouver. Mumford & Sons, the Lumineers and OneRepublic will open on select dates throughout the tour.
