Trey Anastasio Added to Rothbury Lineup

May 29, 2008 5:00 PM ET

Trey Anastasio has been added to the lineup of this year's inaugural Rothbury Festival, joining already-announced headliners Dave Matthews Band, John Mayer, Widespread Panic and Phil Lesh and Friends on the bill — and stoking rumors that a Phish reunion could go down at the Michigan event. Rothbury will be held July 3-6 in Rothbury, Michigan, at the Double JJ Ranch. Anastasio also has a new live album coming out on June 10th called Original Boardwalk Style. The show was recorded over two nights at the House of Blues in Atlantic City, New Jersey, and features the Anastasio-led band the Undectet.

“Baby Got Back”

Sir Mix-a-Lot | 1992

While watching a Budweiser commercial during the Super Bowl, Sir Mix-a-Lot thought the skinny female models in the ad didn’t represent reality. So he wrote this ode to ample bottoms, featuring its famous to-the-point lyric: “I like big butts and I cannot lie.” MTV banished the video, featuring shaking booties and sexually suggestive fruit, to 9 p.m. or later. “I thought my career was over,” he told Rolling Stone. “Then I called Rick Rubin, and I told him the video was banned, and he was like, 'Great!' We sold another 2 million records.”
