Singer suffering from health issues related to Lupus

Toni Braxton was hospitalized in Los Angeles for complications from Lupus, the Associated Press reports

The R&B singer shared the news over Twitter on Friday. "Hey guys, I'm in the hospital for health issues related to Lupus & Blood clots, I will be home soon..." she wrote, and thanked her followers for their love and support.

Braxton disclosed two years ago that she had been diagnosed with the autoimmune disease, and she was hospitalized for a Lupus flare-up last January. The singer has also been facing financial troubles, filing for bankruptcy in October 2010.

Joni Mitchell wrote and recorded this song for her album Court and Spark, but she had to switch from her regular band to make the song sound exactly the way she wanted. "I had attempted to play my music with rock & roll players," she told Rolling Stone. "They’d laugh, 'Awww, isn't that cute? She's trying to teach us how to play.'" Mitchell switched to a jazz band, Tom Scott’s L.A. Express, and scored the biggest hit of her career in the process.
