Tom Morello Looks Forward to Whupping Your Butt in "Guitar Hero"

August 31, 2007 7:00 AM ET

Fire up your plastic axe: Rage Against the Machine's Tom Morello confirmed to us that he is indeed going to be a character in the upcoming Guitar Hero sequel, Guitar Hero III: Legends of Rock, which comes out in late October. Morello will be one of a few formidable "bosses" that you have to beat to finish the game. "It's embarrassing. Now that I'm actually in the game I hope the digital me will win once in a while!"

“Help Me”

Joni Mitchell | 1974

Joni Mitchell wrote and recorded this song for her album Court and Spark, but she had to switch from her regular band to make the song sound exactly the way she wanted. Mitchell switched to a jazz band, Tom Scott’s L.A. Express, and scored the biggest hit of her career in the process.
