Beyoncé will "definitely" be ready with new music before she takes the stage at the Mercedes-Benz Superdome in New Orleans for her Super Bowl halftime show on February 3rd, frequent collaborator The-Dream tells Billboard.

When asked whether she had new songs on the way, The-Dream responded: "Definitely. She's got her stuff going. She took the summer to start recording, and now she's in a place where she's ready to start gearing up to reveal her plan."

The-Dream (real name Terius Nash) also noted that he's "involved in every part of the process" for Beyoncé's upcoming fifth album, after co-writing five songs on her last album, 4

"She's already gearing up to get ready to put stuff out," The-Dream said. "I'm sure there will probably be a couple records you hear before the Super Bowl gets here."

Next year is shaping up to be a busy one for Beyoncé. Along with the Super Bowl show, and the growing possibility of a new record, on February 16th HBO will premiere a new documentary, directed by Beyoncé, that explores her performing, recording and, of course, parenting duties. You can get a first look at the footage from the upcoming documentary with this teaser that opens with Beyonce asking: "I always battle with how much do I reveal about myself."

“Madame George”

Van Morrison | 1968

One of the first stream-of-consciousness epics to make it onto a Van Morrison record, his drawn-out farewell to the eccentric "Madame George" lasted nearly 10 minutes, combining ingredients from folk, jazz and classical music. The character that gave the song its title provoked speculation that it was about a drag queen, though Morrison denied this in Rolling Stone. "If you see it as a male or a female or whatever, it's your trip," he remarked. "I see it as a ... a Swiss cheese sandwich. Something like that."
