After two albums under the moniker Mariachi El Bronx, Los Angeles punks the Bronx are back with riotous riffs and howling, shout-along choruses on their fourth self-titled LP, which will hit shelves February 5th on ATO. If you can't wait to rock out till then, you can take an exclusive first listen to The Bronx (IV) right now. Kicking off with the pummeling "The Unholy Hand," the Bronx refuses to relent, unleashing hook after earworm hook on tracks like adolescent anthem "Youth Wasted," the powerfully subdued "Torches" and scorched-earth closer "Last Revelation."

“Help Me”

Joni Mitchell | 1974

Joni Mitchell wrote and recorded this song for her album Court and Spark, but she had to switch from her regular band to make the song sound exactly the way she wanted. "I had attempted to play my music with rock & roll players," she told Rolling Stone. "They’d laugh, 'Awww, isn't that cute? She's trying to teach us how to play.'" Mitchell switched to a jazz band, Tom Scott’s L.A. Express, and scored the biggest hit of her career in the process.
