Rod Stewart is one of rock's all-time great vocalists. His brief tenure in the Jeff Beck group laid the groundwork for Led Zeppelin, and his early 1970s work (both solo and with the Faces) remains criminally underrated. His output over the past thirty years is spotty at best, so this playlist is focused on his incredible first half decade.
