"Better Dig Two" suggests duality, which is appropriate: The Band Perry play with loud and soft dynamics on their new track for a mix of clang and twang. The family country band shifts from subdued hand claps and banjo finger-picking to explosive choruses flush with huge guitar crashes and Kimberly Perry's searing hot siren calls. It's a rugged sound for the siblings, but one they balance well with moments of delicate melody. "Better Dig Two" will be on the Band Perry's still-untitled second album, which is due next spring.
