T.I. was released from a federal prison in Arkansas this morning, one month before he was scheduled to finish serving time for a probation violation. The rapper had initially served seven months at the prison in 2009 after he was arrested for attempting to purchase unregistered guns from federal agents. He was sent back to jail when he was busted on drug charges in Los Angeles last September.

T.I. has already announced that VH1 will be documenting his return home in an as-yet-untitled 10-episode reality series set to premiere on December 5th. The show, which presumably began filming earlier today, promises to show the rapper readjusting to life with his family and his efforts to stay out of trouble.
