T.I. will go from house arrest to Hollywood as the rapper has signed a three-film deal with Screen Gems to act in three upcoming movies before serving his jail sentence next spring. First up, Tip will appear alongside Matt Dillon in the crime drama Bone Deep, followed by a starring role in the drama Boulevard. A third, undetermined film will round out the deal. These months of freedom promise to be busy for T.I., as the rapper must speak to kids against gun violence as mandated by his community service as well as promote his upcoming album Paper Trails and his MTV reality show.
