Stevie Wonder to Join Gary Clark Jr. at Super Bowl Bash

Soul legend will headline February 2nd party at the Bud Light Hotel

Gary Clark Jr. and Stevie Wonder will headline the Bud Light Hotel concert lineup.

Stevie Wonder will join Gary Clark Jr. for a bash on Super Bowl weekend at the Bud Light Hotel in New Orleans. The soul legend and hotshot bluesman are teaming up for the February 2nd concert, with Wonder serving as headliner. Doors open at 8 p.m., and fans not headed to the big game can catch streaming performances on Myspace.

The Saturday night show is preceded by the Rolling Stone LIVE party on February 1st at the Bud Light Hotel. It features performances by Pitbull and Flo Rida.

“Like on 'Youth Knows No Pain' — we are the ones that should demonstrate, because we can take it,” Likke Li said. “We can pierce ourselves, take Ecstasy, dance all night and still go to work at our McDonald's jobs.” Despite the hedonistic sentiment in the song, the Swedish singer also admitted in hindsight her youth had repercussions. “I remember when I was 18-19 and feeling that I know it all,” Li said. “I always feel that I know it all. But that song is about realizing you don’t, and reflecting, ‘Boy, if I only knew what would follow.’”
