Stephen Colbert Dedicates Show to 'Hobbit Week'

Comic will host film cast members and director Peter Jackson

Stephen Colbert will take his J.R.R. Tolkien fandom to a new level next week by celebrating "Hobbit Week" on The Colbert Report, according to The Hollywood Reporter. The comedian will host film stars Ian McKellen, Martin Freeman and Andy Serkis, plus director Peter Jackson, with McKellen up first on December 3rd.

Colbert visited the set of the Hobbit trilogy in New Zealand, and will appear in some role in one of the Hobbit films. The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey opens December 14th.
