On his debut solo EP Dedication, out June 12th on Fueled by Ramen, singer-songwriter Rome of Sublime with Rome teamed up with a variety of producers and songwriters, from Benny Blanco (Maroon 5, Ke$ha) to RoboPop (Gym Class Heroes). The EP's title track is a personal but peppy acoustic paean written with fun. singer Nate Ruess and producer Jeff Bhasker, who has worked with Kanye West and Beyoncé.
"The song's about loving someone who is struggling with getting their life together and eventually having to move on," says Rome. "It's probably some of the most personal stuff I've put in a song. Sometimes all you need is the right people to pull the best out of you, and that's what I feel happened with the three of us. The right individuals, at the right place and time."
