Seattle indie-rockers Minus the Bear returned to their hometown earlier this year to record their fifth album, Infinity Overhead, which is set for release on August 28th. The first single, "Lonely Gun," packs a punch with charging, acrobatic-sounding guitars woven through a pop-friendly chorus.

"'Lonely Gun' came out of a deep depression," singer/guitarist Jake Snider tells Rolling Stone. "I was thinking about how lonely an unused gun must be, its purpose unfulfilled, like a loveless relationship. The only way to allow its purpose is to hold it – to use it."
