Artist: Dead Sara
Song: "Snow in Los Angeles"
"My mom had the idea about us writing our own Christmas song. She brought up the idea a previous year also but I kind of laughed it off until I brought it up to the band to share the humor but instead it sparked interest and we literally started writing it right then and there almost as part of the conversation," Dead Sara's Emily Armstrong tells Rolling Stone. "The lyric, 'It never snows in Los Angeles' was one of the first lyrics written and everything just seemed to make sense after that. So, Merry Christmas Mom!"
