The Smashing Pumpkins will embark on their first acoustic tour this June, scheduling a short string of theater dates before hitting the road with Marilyn Manson throughout July and into August.

According the band's website, the "In Plainsong" tour will not only feature acoustic renditions of Smashing Pumpkins songs, but also Zwan tracks and selections from frontman Billy Corgan's solo catalogue. The group offered a potential preview of the trek during a recent appearance on Good Morning America, where they performed an acoustic version of "Drum + Fife," off the Pumpkins' latest LP, Monuments to an Elegy.

The "In Plainsong" tour begins June 15th at the Riviera Theatre in Buffalo, New York, and includes stops in Indianapolis, Indiana, Des Moines, Iowa, and St. Louis, Missouri, before wrapping up June 25th at the Pantages Theatre in Minneapolis, Minnesota. A complete schedule is below.

Following their acoustic trek, the Smashing Pumpkins will break out the full stacks for their co-headlining summer tour with Marilyn Manson, fittingly dubbed, The End Times. Tickets for the 23-date trek are currently on sale; the tour begins July 7th at the Concord Pavilion in Concord, California.

Both tours mark the Smashing Pumpkins' first significant set of live dates supporting their eighth LP, Monuments to an Elegy, which dropped last December. Corgan and Co. did play a handful of shows upon the album's release, with Rage Against the Machine drummer Brad Wilk and Killers bassist Mark Stoermer comprising the band's rhythm section.
