As he promotes his latest album, Peach Panther, Riff Raff is looking to the Home Shopping Network for inspiration. The rapper filmed a surreal infomercial while visiting the Rolling Stone offices and took a few calls from viewers along the way.
Dressed in a peach-colored suit, Riff Raff begins by showing off the "hologram crustaceans" across the front of the deluxe edition of his Peach Panther CD. During the "broadcast," viewers called in to banter with the MC, who pretended to be a man named Jerry Butane.
The rapper also showed off how durable his Peach Panther poster was, carefully ripping the top of it. "Look at it, I barely ripped it," he said. As he encourages more purchases of his album, he notes how one of the CDs went for "$1.799 million" when he visited Denver, making the price of $19.99 for a CD seem even more reasonable. "It's not an egg in a nutshell," he says.
Peach Panther is out now.
