See Blood Orange, Carly Rae Jepsen's Mesmerizing 'Better Than Me' Video

R&B, pop singers collaborate for heavily choreographed video of 'Freetown Sound' track

Blood Orange has shared their new video for "Better Than Me," a Carly Rae Jepsen-featuring track off 'Freetown Sound.'

Blood Orange shared the new video for "Better Than Me," a Carly Rae Jepsen-assisted track from Freetown Sound, one of Rolling Stone's 50 Best Albums of 2016.

The video, directed by Blood Orange's Devonte Hynes, features a group of meticulously dressed dancers, including Hynes, moving in precise synchrony to the music. Jepsen appears, staring longingly out of the warehouse windows while singing her "Better Than Me" verse.

Hynes and Jepsen previously collaborated on "All That," a standout from Jepsen's acclaimed 2015 LP Emotion. At the time, Jepsen revealed that she was a fan of Blood Orange's previous LP, Cupid Deluxe.

"It was three people who have never really worked together in that capacity, and it was a fun, new sort of something that I don't think any of us could have made without the other person," Jepsen said of the track, which she penned with Hynes and producer Arial Rechtstaid. "That's when it's the best."

"Better Than Me" follows Blood Orange's similarly dance-themed, Hynes-directed videos for "I Know" and "Augustine."
