See Alessia Cara Impersonate Nicki Minaj, Lorde on 'Fallon'

Singer returns to 'Tonight Show' to sing "Skidamarink" as Ariana Grande, 'Fresh Prince' theme as Minaj

Alessia Cara returned to 'Tonight Show' – where she made her first TV performance in 2015 – to play Wheel of Musical Impressions with Jimmy Fallon.

Ahead of Alessia Cara's Saturday Night Live debut, the 20-year-old Canadian singer returned to The Tonight Show – where she staged her first TV performance in summer 2015 – to play a few rounds of Wheel of Musical Impressions with Jimmy Fallon.

The Musical Impression Generator first forced Cara to sing the nursery school staple "Skidamarink" under the guise of Ariana Grande – also a Wheel of Musical Impressions veteran – with Fallon then countering by singing the Empire Carpet jingle as Sting, an impression he's done before.

Cara was next called up to perform The Fresh Prince of Bel Air theme as Nicki Minaj, and despite warning that her impression wouldn't be worthy of the rapper, Cara ultimately nailed the impersonation. Fallon responded by singing "Eeny, Meeny, Miny, Moe" as Axl Rose to the tune of Guns N' Roses' "Patience."

Cara closed out the game by delivering a pitch-perfect Lorde impression on "Baa Baa Black Sheep."

In her interview with Fallon, Cara talked about how she predicted that she would eventually perform on SNL, and revealed her next big life goal: Voicing a character in an animated movie. The singer does lend her vocals to Moana's "How Far I Go," even though she didn't voice the character herself.
