"'Run, Engine, Run' is an autobiographical song about my grandfather and the last gift he gave to my brother and me, a 1964 Mercedes Benz," Trapper Schoepp tells Rolling Stone. "His favorite singer was Johnny Cash, so I wanted the song to have the locomotive chug rhythm that is a Cash signature."
