Rolling Stones Set Date for Los Angeles Tour Kickoff

Band will launch next leg of '50 and Counting' tour on May 2nd

The Rolling Stones have put a date on their Los Angeles tour kickoff, which will happen May 2nd at the Staples Center. The band last week announced a nine-city, nine-show U.S. leg on their "50 and Counting" tour, which has since expanded with added additional shows in Chicago and Toronto.

Tickets for shows in Los Angeles, Anaheim (May 15th), Boston (June 12th) and Philadelphia (June 18th) will go on sale April 15th at 10 a.m. local time through the band's website. Tickets for other dates on the tour – May 5th in Oakland, California; May 8th in San Jose, California; May 11th in Las Vegas; May 25th and June 6th in Toronto; and May 28th, 31st and June 3rd in Chicago – are on sale now.

The Stones are also slated to perform June 29th at this year's Glastonbury festival in England, and the rockers will play a pair of shows in Hyde Park in London, their first there since 1969.
