The Rolling Stones' Ronnie Wood married fiancée Sally Humphries in London last Friday, The Sun reports. Last month, the Daily Mail reported the couple showed up at the British Fashion Awards sporting matching silver bands, sparking speculation if the two had secretly married after announcing their engagement in October. Rod Stewart served as Wood's best man, and Paul McCartney was among the estimated 50 or so attendees, though fellow Stones Mick Jagger and Keith Richards were not in attendance.

Inside the Rolling Stones' Reunion

The Rolling Stones wrapped up their run of 50th anniversary shows on December 15th at Newark, New Jersey's Prudential Center, though a slip-up on their mobile app briefly listed a date at Coachella 2013, furthering rumors of more shows next year.

“Long Walk Home”

Bruce Springsteen | 2007

When the subject of this mournful song returns home, he hardly recognizes his town. Springsteen told Rolling Stone the alienation the man feels is a metaphor for life in a politically altered post-9/11 America. “Who would have ever thought we’d live in a country without habeas corpus?” he said. “That’s Orwellian. That’s what political hysteria is about and how effective it is. I felt it in myself. You get frightened for your family, for your home. And you realize how countries can move way off course, very far from democratic ideals.”
