The respective entourages of Chris Brown and Drake allegedly clashed at W.I.P, a New York City nightclub, last night, throwing punches and bottles at each other, TMZ reports.

After receiving a call between 4 and 5 a.m., New York police arrived at the club, where five people had sustained injuries, none critical. By that time neither Brown nor Drake were present. No arrests were made.

Brown received a nasty gash on his chin, a picture of which he posted to Twitter along with several messages including "How u party wit a rich n---a that hate? Lol...." Those messages, along with the picture, have since been deleted from Brown's Twitter account, though Rap-Up has obtained a screenshot of the messages.

Unconfirmed reports suggest the altercation started after Brown sent a bottle over to Drake's table, which prompted the Toronto rapper to approach Brown and start arguing over Rihanna, Brown's ex-girlfriend, with whom Drake has been romantically linked as well.

According to Global Grind, Maybach Music up-and-comer Meek Mill, who was with Drake, may have been the instigator, encouraging Drake to confront Brown.

Back at the end of March, Drake and his entourage got in trouble after smoking marijuana inside an Oklahoma City nightclub that resulted in one arrest, the club being shut down and the owner seeking damages.

“Help Me”

Joni Mitchell | 1974

Joni Mitchell wrote and recorded this song for her album Court and Spark, but she had to switch from her regular band to make the song sound exactly the way she wanted. "I had attempted to play my music with rock & roll players," she told Rolling Stone. "They’d laugh, 'Awww, isn't that cute? She's trying to teach us how to play.'" Mitchell switched to a jazz band, Tom Scott’s L.A. Express, and scored the biggest hit of her career in the process.
