Coachella organizers announced today that Prince has been added to this year's festival and will headline the second night, April 26th. Portishead was previously announced at the Saturday night headliner. The addition of the Purple One adds some serious clout to a festival that was criticized for lacking the bold-faced headliners of Lollapalooza, Bonnaroo and All Points West. Prince's performance will mark the first time the artist has ever appeared at the Indio, California event.
