Preview Alabama Shakes' Fierce 'Austin City Limits' Set

Band performs "Don't Wanna Fight" and "Gemini" from Grammy-nominated 'Sound & Color'

Alabama Shakes will perform on an upcoming 'Austin City Limits' episode

Austin City Limits kickstarts the second half of its 41st season January 2nd with a ferocious six-song performance by the Alabama Shakes. Before the episode airs, Rolling Stone has an exclusive preview of the concert with "Don't Wanna Fight," which was nominated for Best Rock Song and Best Rock Performance at the 58th annual Grammys.

The Austin City Limits episode was filmed on October 2nd – which happened to be Shakes frontwoman Brittany Howard's birthday – so the band was especially fired up for their second ACL appearance. The group split the hourlong program with Los Angeles R&B band Vintage Trouble, with the Shakes' performance focusing on the group's Album of the Year-nominatedSound & Color.
