Businesswoman will be the Beatle's third wife

Paul McCartney has announced to People magazine that he has become engaged to Nancy Shevell, his girlfriend of four years. The Beatles legend, 68, started dating Shevell, a 51-year-old businesswoman and New York City transit board member, during the summer of 2007.

This will be McCartney's third marriage. He was wed to his first wife, Linda Eastman, from 1969 until her death in 1998, and to charity campaigner Heather Mills from 2002 until their divorce in 2008.

This blunt, bitter breakup song -- famous for its line "Would she go down on you in a theater?" -- was long rumored to be about Alanis Morissette getting dumped by Full House actor Dave Coulier. But while she never confirmed it was about him (Coulier himself says it is, however), she insisted the song wasn't all about scorn. "By no means is this record just a sexual, angry record," she told Rolling Stone. "The song wasn't written for the sake of revenge. It was written for the sake of release. I'm actually a pretty rational, calm person."
