They came out of nowhere in the early '00s — five good-looking Manhattan bad-boys that were so relatably ragged, fans would forever refer to them by their first names. And though Julian, Nikolai, Albert, Fab and Nick would experience several musical (and inter-personal) ups and downs over the next few years, at their best, they were as lurid and alluring as the city they called home.
