After months of swirling rumors, details of the new Daft Punk album are finally surfacing. Random Access Memories will be coming out May 21st on the imprint Daft Life Limited through Columbia Records.

Daft Punk's Most Revealing Interview Yet

The French duo's follow-up to 2010's Tron: Legacy soundtrack became available for pre-order on iTunes this afternoon. The site indicates that there will be 13 tracks on the album, but the titles are not yet listed. Vinyl and CD copies can be pre-ordered through the band's new website for the album.

Daft Punk gave a small taste of Random Access Memories earlier this month when it aired a mysterious 15-second trailer featuring new music during a Saturday Night Live broadcast, though the title and release date remained unknown at the time. Producer and guitarist Nile Rodgers has also been dropping hints about his own involvement in the new album.

A second trailer for the album appeared during last night's SNL, officially announcing the album and offering another snippet from the album. Watch the clip below:

“Promiscuous”

Nelly Furtado with Timbaland | 2006

This club-oriented single featuring Timbaland, who produced Nelly Furtado's third album, Loose, was Furtado’s sexy return after the Canadian singer's exploration of her Portuguese heritage on Folklore. "In the studio, initially I didn’t know if I could do it, 'cause Timbaland wrote that chorus," Furtado said. "I'm like, 'That's cool, but I don't know if I'm ready to do full-out club.'" The flirty lyrics are a dance between a guy and girl, each knowing they will end up in bed together but still playing the game. "Tim and I called it 'The BlackBerry Song,' she said, "because everything we say in the song you could text-message to somebody."
