Neil Young and Promise of the Real, Ryan Adams, Dixie Chicks and St. Vincent will perform at the 29th annual Bridge School Benefit Concert, which heads to Mountain View, California's Shoreline Amphitheatre on October 24th and 25th. Sheryl Crow, Gary Clark Jr., Spoon and Nils Lofgren round out this year's lineup. Tickets for the annual event go on sale Friday, September 18th at Ticketmaster.

This year's concerts features a handful of Bridge School Benefit veterans, including Young, who co-founded the fundraising shows with his ex-wife Pegi in 1986 and has played at every fest. Lofgren, who performed at the first two Bridge School events in 1986 and 1988, will visit the Bridge School concert stage for the first time since 1991. Adams (who just performed at Neil Fest) will be making his first Bridge School appearance in a dozen years, with the singer last performing at the 2003 benefit. Clark Jr. is returning to Bridge School after setting the tone at the 2012 concerts. Crow is also a two-time Bridge School vet, with her last outing in 2010.

The 2014 Bridge School benefit concerts featured Young, Brian Wilson, Florence and the Machine, Pearl Jam and Soundgarden, with the latter two staging a surprise Temple of the Dog reunion. This year's fest will mark the first time Young has brought Promise of the Real, his new backing band featuring two of Willie Nelson's sons, to the benefit concert; the group appears on Young's latest LP The Monsanto Years.

All proceeds from the concerts go directly to the Bridge School, a non-profit organization that helps children with severe speech and physical impairments.
