As a youngster, Kenny Vasoli was the frontman for pop-punk group the Starting Line, playing catchy, emotional tunes. Now 28, Vasoli has a new project, the chilled out electro-pop outfit Vacationer. Here, the Vacationer track "Trip" gets a heady reimagining from Mmoths that's even more liquid than the original.
"I was really excited to hear Mmoths take on our track 'Trip,'" Vasoli tells Rolling Stone. "I've been a fan of his remixes for quite some time and I really love that he was able to take the song to a completely new place. It's always great when someone is able to remix a track and make their own, and Mmoths nailed it."
"Trip" is off Vacationer's debut album, Gone, available now. The Mmoths remix and three others will be released on June 19th on iTunes, but you can download this one for free now.
