Morrissey, Ween, Death Cab for Cutie, the Deftones, Nas and many more are set to join the Misfits at Riot Fest dates in Chicago and Denver.

UPDATE 2: Morrissey has changed his mind and has decided to play this year's Chicago Riot Fest, according to his website True to You.

UPDATE: Morrissey is reportedly not performing at this year's Chicago Riot Fest. A post on the official Moz fan site True to You reads: "As of this date (May 23), Morrissey is not a part of this year’s Chicago Riot Fest.” Riot Fest announced its 2016 lineup last Wednesday, which featured Morrissey among the many other artists scheduled to perform in Chicago.

Morrissey, Ween, Death Cab for Cutie, the Deftones and Nas are set to play Riot Fests in Chicago and/or Denver, topping stacked lineups that will notably feature the recently reunited Misfits.

Riot Fest Chicago will also boast several full album performances. In Denver, Jane's Addiction will play all of Ritual De Lo Habitual, while the Hold Steady will perform all of Boys and Girls in America on both weekends.

Both Chicago and Denver Riot Fests will include Death Cab for Cutie, the Deftones, Nas, Ween, Fitz and the Tantrums, White Lung, Jake Bugg, Motion City Soundtrack, Underoath, Bad Religion, Fucked Up and Diarrhea Planet.

The Denver lineup includes Sleater-Kinney, the Dandy Warhols, Tyler, the Creator, Yo La Tengo, Sleigh Bells, Vince Staples, Suicidal Tendencies, Danny Brown, Against Me!, Meat Puppets and Flatbush Zombies. Chicago will feature Morrissey, Brand New, the Specials, Bob Mould, Refused, Death Grips, the Hives, Andrew W.K., GZA, Joey Bada$$, GWAR, All time Low, Method Man and Redman, Laura Stevenson, All Dogs and Big Ups.

Both the Denver and Chicago dates have lineup overlaps, and full breakdowns of each weekend can be found on the Riot Fest website. More artists will be added in the coming weeks. General admission and VIP tickets are on sale for both Chicago and Denver.
