Add movie actress to Miranda Lambert's résumé. According to Deadline, the "Somethin' Bad" singer is "collaborating" with music video director Trey Fanjoy ("Somethin' Bad," "The House That Built Me") on a proposed theatrical film.

Presently titled Something in the Water, the comedy would cast Lambert as one of five women who compete against their mates in a bass-fishing tournament. Fanjoy, who would direct, and screenwriter Cindy McCreery provided the script. Sony Music Nashville, Lambert's record label, confirms to Rolling Stone Country that the project is in the "early stages of development."

The film would mark Lambert's first foray onto the silver screen but not her first acting gig. In 2012, she guest starred on Law & Order: SVU, playing a rape victim.
