One of the most memorable moments of this final season of American Idol was the audition by Tristan McIntosh, a Nashville 10th grader who performed "Why Baby Why" by powerhouse country vocalist Mickey Guyton. Like many, Guyton saw the performance after video of the audition went viral and sought out the young singer.

This week, Guyton welcomed McIntosh onstage during a showcase in Nashville to sing "Why Baby Why" as a duet, completing the circle.

"After seeing Tristan perform 'Why Baby Why' on American Idol I just had to meet her. I couldn't believe she picked my song out of the millions of songs she could have performed for her audition," Guyton tells Rolling Stone Country. "We made plans to meet for coffee the night I was rehearsing for my Nashville show. We were having such a great time that I invited Tristan to my rehearsal and then I thought, 'Why doesn't she just sing on 'Why Baby Why' with me?' It was such a fun night for me to share the stage with this super talented and sweet 15 year old."

McIntosh heads off to Hollywood for the next round of Idol competition, while Guyton, who released an EP last spring, is finishing work on her debut full-length album.
