Mick Jagger will host and perform on the May 19th season finale of Saturday Night Live, Deadline reports. This will be third time the Rolling Stones frontman will perform on the SNL stage, and his first time hosting the show. In 1978 he and the rest of the Stones co-hosted and performed, appearing in a handful of sketches.
It's not clear what Jagger will perform on the show. His most recent record was with SuperHeavy, but it's unlikely that he will perform with them since they aren't billed. It seems likely that he'll play an old Stones hit though, and could possibly be joined by other members of the band.
Jagger has proven his comedy chops in his past appearances on the show, most memorably in this classic skit with Jimmy Fallon from the December 8th 2001 episode, on which he was a musical guest along with host Hugh Jackman.
