Meek Mill may face prison time next year after a Philadelphia judge determined the rapper had violated the terms of his probation, which included him ignoring travel restrictions and other rules, according to NBC 10 in Philadelphia.

Common Pleas Court Judge Genece Brinkley also ruled that Mill cannot work or perform before the February 5th hearing for his sentencing and ruling, unless it is community service.

Mill told the judge that he's aware his "whole life is on the line," and that he has been spending time with his family and girlfriend Nicki Minaj, who testified on Mill's behalf. She suggested she's been a good influence while they've been living together.

"[The parole officer's] not going to be the one sleeping alone if he goes to jail. I am," Minaj told the judge. "He's not perfect, but I can't believe how much he's changed."

Minaj said she'd also help Mill fulfill his required community service. "He doesn't have a lot of structure. He can be irresponsible," she said. "Since I've come into his life, I think I've been working on that a little bit… He's just getting accustomed to being an adult."

This isn't the first time Judge Brinkley has found Mill in violation of probation. Mill was arrested for drug and gun charges in 2008 and spent 18 months in jail before being put on five-year probation. In July 2014 he was sentenced to six months in jail for violating probation after not getting permission to book out-of-town concerts, and failing to provide his probation officer with a working phone number.

In addition to previously jailing him, the judge had ordered him to take etiquette, anger management and parenting classes as well as extended his probation.

"He's thumbing his nose at me," Judge Brinkley said. "And I haven't been convinced otherwise."
