M.I.A.'s new album Matangi has been expected for quite some time now, and with its November 5th release date approaching, the musician is offering up a snippet of the album's first single "Come Walk With Me."

Although M.I.A. released a preview of "Come Walk With Me" last year, she has since slowed down the riotous track to a sweet, sparse ode that still knows how to swing. The full version of "Come Walk With Me" will be released on September 3rd.

M.I.A.'s 'Matangi' and 25 More Albums You Need to Hear This Fall

Matangi's first official single comes a little less than a month after M.I.A. threatened to leak her new album after continued battles with her label, Interscope. The record was initially due late last year, then this spring and finally this fall.

Along with overcoming her label troubles, it looks like M.I.A. is also back on track to release a stalled documentary about Matangi. Earlier this summer, director Steve Loveridge leaked the teaser trailer after growing frustrated with the film's stunted production; Roc Nation and Interscope, however, pulled the trailer, prompting the director to leave the project.
