The Book of Mormon, the Tony Award-nominated smash hit Broadway debut of South Park creators Trey Parker and Matt Stone, may be the first great musical of the 21st Century. According to Rolling Stone's Peter Travers, the show is a "new gold standard for rowdy fun on Broadway" and the music is "a diabolically melodic and merry blend of Monty Python and Rodgers and Hammerstein."

Since The Book of Mormon is consistently sold out on Broadway and won't hit the road until late next year, the original cast recording CD will be a lot of people's first experience with the musical. The cast and crew came through with an outstanding album that highlights the wit of the lyrics and the incredible tunefulness of the songs while leaving you desperate to score tickets to see the actual show.
The cast recording is currently available in digital stores and will arrive on CD on June 7th, but you can now stream the album in its entirety.
