Lana Del Rey has booked her first East Coast gig of 2014, as the pop singer will be one of the headlining acts at Maryland's Sweetlife Music and Food Festival. Set to join her are Foster the People, 2 Chainz, Fitz and the Tantrums, Capital Cities, Chromeo, St. Lucia and Bastille. The one-day event will take place on May 10th at Merriweather Post Pavilion in Columbia, Maryland, just outside of Washington D.C. and Baltimore.
In addition to its music offerings, the fest focuses heavily on food. Sweetgreen, an organic, farm-to-table salad shop with 22 locations, has organized the concert, and will offer its own pop-up tents and grab-and-go stands, as well as food stands from other restaurants, farmers and chefs from around the area.
As with previous years, all proceeds from the fest will benefit Sweetgreen in Schools, which uses the money to educate children in the Washington, D.C. area about eating healthy.
Tickets for the festival go on sale at 10 a.m. EST on February 14th, but pre-sales begin today. Watch the festival's lineup announcement here:
