Lady Gaga surprised her fans on Christmas, announcing on Twitter that photographer Terry Richardson is working on a documentary about her and her forthcoming album, ARTPOP. "I love you @Terry_World thank you for believing in me and my fans," she tweeted. "I have looked up to you and your work for so long, its a dream come true!"

Lady Gaga's Wildest Looks

Lady Gaga hasn't set a release date for ARTPOP, but plans to release the record as a regular album and as an interactive app. Gaga revealed she has already written around 50 songs for ARTPOP earlier this month.

“You Oughta Know”

Alanis Morissette | 1995

This blunt, bitter breakup song -- famous for its line "Would she go down on you in a theater?" -- was long rumored to be about Alanis Morissette getting dumped by Full House actor Dave Coulier. But while she never confirmed it was about him (Coulier himself says it is, however), she insisted the song wasn't all about scorn. "By no means is this record just a sexual, angry record," she told Rolling Stone. "The song wasn't written for the sake of revenge. It was written for the sake of release. I'm actually a pretty rational, calm person."
