Katy Perry's 3D concert movie will hit theaters this Fourth of July weekend, the Los Angeles Times reports. Katy Perry: Part of Me 3D, a film featuring documentary and live footage of the pop star, will debut on July 5th in a bid to match the success of Justin Bieber's highly profitable Never Say Never 3D concert film.

You can watch a trailer for Perry's movie below. Though the clip includes shots of the pop star's colorful stage show, some emphasis is placed on her recent divorce from comedian Russell Brand, as their relationship dissolved over the course of filming the tour.

“Is It True”

Brenda Lee | 1964

As the British Invasion reached its peak in 1964, Brenda Lee went from Nashville to London to record one of her hardest-rocking hits, her perky vocal backed by a stuttering, squalling guitar. That guitar was played by session musician Jimmy Page, yet to skyrocket to fame with first the Yardbirds and then Led Zeppelin. "She said to me, 'I've come here to make a record with the British sound,'" remembered producer Mickie Most. "She felt she wouldn't get the same sound in Nashville because they're only just catching up on the British beat group sound of about six months ago."
