Kings of Leon, Arcade Fire, Kanye West and The Strokes have been announced as the headliners of the 2011 Coachella Festival in Indio, California. The eclectic bill will also feature Animal Collective, Duran Duran, PJ Harvey, the Black Keys, the National, Lauryn Hill, Cee Lo Green, Robyn, Bright Eyes, the Chemical Brothers, Erykah Badu and Interpol.
Coachella is known for reuniting bands, and this year is no different. The Britpop band Suede, who just recently completed a reunion tour in Europe, will play their first American show since 1997 on the second day of the festival. Big Audio Dynamite and Death From Above 1979 are also set to play their first reunion shows on the Coachella stage.
The festival, which will run from April 15th through 17th, will also include performances by a long list of up-and-coming acts such as Titus Andronicus, Neon Trees, Cold Cave, the Drums, Glasser, the Joy Formidable, Deloreon, the Morning Benders and the rap collective Odd Future.
