LCD Soundsystem's James Murphy told Rolling Stone last month that he was writing music for a play – and it turns out to be a Broadway production.

According to Playbill, the versatile musician is set to contribute music to an upcoming restaging of Betrayal, written by the Nobel Prize-winning playwright Harold Pinter. It is set to star the actors Daniel Craig and Rachel Weisz, who are married in real life, and is an influential play; its reverse-chronology structure inspired Seinfeld to air a similarly warped episode in 1997.

The show opens on October 27th in New York and tickets go on sale July 12th (June 26th for American Express cardholders).

Aside from his Great White Way project, Murphy has kept busy since the demise of LCD Soundsystem; he's recorded with Andre 3000, landed a supporting role in the ironically-named drama The Comedy and produced other artists.
