Artist: Drgn King
Song: "Holy Ghost"
Album: Paragraph Nights
"'Holy Ghost' was written while our drummer Joe and I lived in the Port Richmond area of Philadelphia. At the time, my long hair made me resemble the modern depiction of Jesus," Drgn King's Dominic Angelella tells Rolling Stone. "I walked into a shady corner store one afternoon that looked like a front for some kind of illicit activity and a girl held up a rosary at me and said 'get away from me, Jesus.' She screamed and hid from me behind a soda machine, seeming at least 85 percent serious. That night I met up with Ritz and we wrote the song together."
