Artist: Height with Friends
Song: "Hard Work"
Album: Rock and Roll
"I wrote this song on tour, after talking with a pal about the idea of work. I see work as an important part of being alive, while he sees it as an insane trick that we're all playing on ourselves," Dan Keech aka Height explains. "He said there was a time when people didn't spend as much of their day working, and there will be a time when we won't have to work so much anymore. I had never considered the idea that work itself was a flawed concept."
