Artist: The Helio Sequence
Song: "Hall of Mirrors"
Album: Negotiations
"'Hall of Mirrors' is a song of both introspection and action – a searching of the past for answers – and the urge to shed illusion and move forward," singer and guitarist Brandon Summers tells Rolling Stone. "It began as a short impromptu jam recorded as an afterthought, archived and forgotten during the sessions for Negotiations. Months later the song took full form when we pulled up the rough demo by chance to test some new studio equipment and realized that we had been sitting on one of our favorite new songs that whole time!"
